Ms. Janice Kelsey, a high school student during the 1963 and a "foot soldier" during the first mass march of the "children's campaign" in Birmingham which led her to being arrested and spending 4 days in prison for her non-violent protest. Today, she is an acclaimed high school science teacher in Birmingham and Pricipal of Dupy Elementary School and Powderly Elementary School (citation needed for her current position)
